Hello! We are beyond grateful and excited to be here, sharing a little about us and the life we’d love to share with a child through adoption. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child! From the very beginning of our relationship we discussed adoption and building our family this way. After years of preparing, learning, and going through some infertility challenges, our marriage has grown stronger, along with our desire to become parents. We feel like adoption was always the path meant for us.

We’re best friends, we love tons of time with family and friends, we love to have fun and laugh (especially at Disney!), and we’d love to share our whole hearts and lives with the child we’re chosen to adopt. We'd also love to get to know more about you and the hopes you have for your child’s future.

Our Story

We are truly best friends and enjoy doing everything and anything together! Our story began 11 years ago when we met on a dating app (the first app each of us had ever tried!). We had our first date at a local Mexican restaurant, thinking it would be a quick dinner. After hours talking and laughing, we knew something special had started over chips and salsa. Now we’ve been happily married over 8 years!

Things we love to do:
• Host holidays and get-togethers at our house
• Travel with family or just the two of us
• Golfing
• Time with our dogs
• Working on home projects
• Game nights
• Day trips to the zoo or local festivals
• Attending local sporting events

This is Jessica

What Aaron says: Jessica is the most honest, honorable, and all-around good person that I know. She’s dependable, understanding, loyal, loving, brilliant, warm, and patient. Jessica always inspires me and others around her to be better. All of the things that make her my favorite person will make her a wonderful mother. I know she will never miss an opportunity to make new memories with our child, plan the next craft project or trip to the zoo, and enjoy millions of giggles and laughs over movie nights and bedtime stories.

This is Aaron

What Jessica says: Aaron is the most loving, intelligent, hardworking, funny, and trustworthy person I know. There’s never a challenge he cannot solve! He is passionate about things and people he cares about. Aaron was meant to be a dad, which is clear to me when I see him interact and play with all of our nieces and nephews. The kids in our life love time with him, and he loves every minute with them. Aaron will be the kind of father who is very loving, caring, and goofy, yet also respected as a man and provider. I know he will create a wonderful childhood full of fun memories, and help guide our child toward a bright future for themselves.

Our Home in Tennessee

We live in Middle Tennessee where there are always exciting events and games going on for us to attend. We enjoy the festivals, national parks, and sports here often. Our neighborhood has a lot for families to enjoy too, including a swimming pool, splash pad, gym, walking trails, and a playground. The neighborhood community also host a lot of child-friendly events for all of us to enjoy together. Plus, we’re minutes from some of the area’s top-rated schools.

Our home has 4 bedrooms, with an open layout and a huge bonus room that will make a great playroom for our child. After we adopt we will convert the largest bedroom into the nursery, which we’re planning to decorate in an “It’s a Small World” theme. We live on a large corner property that has a fenced backyard and a covered patio. We can walk to the pool and playground from here too! Our home has become the place our families gather for holidays and special traditions that we can’t wait to share with a child one day.

Our Families

We have a very large extended family, with lots of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and 9 nieces and nephews. We all get together regularly for holidays, sporting events, game nights, and birthdays. Coming from a large family is so fun and everyone is excited about our plans to adopt, especially since we both have cousins who were adopted. Most of our loved ones live nearby, with Jessica’s parents living right down our street. We love to travel to visit the few relatives we have out of state or have them stay here when they visit us. Our families stay very connected and are a huge support to each other.

Plans for Childcare: We’re thankful both of our mothers live locally and are excited to watch our baby when we have to go back to work. Our child will grow up with two amazing grandmothers who will help with daycare needs.

Our Promise to You

We already know what an honor it will be to be chosen to adopt a child. It means a lot to us to be considered as adoptive parents! As parents, we promise to raise your child in a warm, faithful, happy home with unconditional love and open communication. We promise to be there for him or her through anything. We promise to create an environment where he or she is guided with love, honesty, faith, and trust. We promise to encourage their curiosity for learning and make ways for them to explore their talents and strengths. We promise to support him or her as they set goals and reach for dreams in their own future.

We promise we would honor you as your child’s birth family, and if you’d like an open adoption, we would love to share photos, letters, and occasional visits with you. It would be great to talk with you about what you have in mind! We will always be honest with him or her about our adoption story as a family and plan to talk about it from the start.
