https://vimeo.com/1170372756Hello from Illinois! We are an active family of five that is excited to add another child to our family through adoption. We make family time a top priority and enjoy art projects, sports, playing in our yard, and watching Scooby Doo.
We are passionate about raising our children to love the Lord, love others, to try new things and to always do their best. We strive to create a home that is safe to talk about feelings, ask questions, make mistakes, and to be able to express themselves without judgement. We promise to do the same for your child. We have so much love to give and are praying daily for our future child and birth mom. We are open to any level of contact you are comfortable with such as letters, pictures, and yearly visits. Thanks so much for considering us!
About Us
We are high school sweethearts who have been together since 2009 and married since 2011. Once we got married, we couldn't wait to start having kids and building a family. Throughout the journey to parenthood, we experienced losses and trials but always believed God had a plan. We want to see our family grow and our hearts have been led to adopt! As a couple, we love to spend time with family and friends. We enjoy hosting holiday get togethers, traveling across the country, and playing board games.
Together with our children, we enjoy:
- Playing Hide-and-Go Seek
- Participating in local sports leagues
- Going to local children's museums or trampoline parks
- Visiting the family farmsWe look forward to adding another child to our family and making more memories with him or her as a family of six.
About Anthony (by Bre)
Anthony is such a hardworking and selfless man. No matter what he does, I can always count on him to give his best. After a hard day's work, he is often found giving the kids piggyback rides or building towers for them to knock over. He is also a huge help around the house and is very self-efficient. If something breaks and he doesn't know how to fix it, he will watch a YouTube video and figure it out. Some of his favorite hobbies include woodworking, Legos, and sports--specifically baseball and Jiu Jitsu. He also enjoys doing yard work, adding to his Christmas light displays, and anything that the kids are interested in. He's even been caught painting our daughter's toenails. Anthony is a strong and loving leader for our family. He makes it a priority to be present and available for me and the kids, and is excited to do the same for our next child.
About Bre (by Anthony)
Bre is a shining example of unconditional love. She has a caring heart that not only is a benefit to me in our marriage and our kids as their mother, but also pours over into the world around us. Her creativeness and passion for adventure fuels our family. She finds ways to make life fun at home with the kids by introducing them to fun new experiments and crafts that tie into their school to help make lessons stick. She also loves thinking about the next great adventure we should take as a family. Some of her favorite hobbies include crafting, capturing our memories through photo books, and cheering on the Packers. She also enjoys completing home projects and keeping the house updated with holiday décor throughout the year. She is an incredible steward of the health in our home in many ways. From a desire to always have strong emotional bonds and trust in place, to taking the time to make food from scratch, she desires healthiness on all levels. I truly don't know how she does it, but she continues to show up each and every day with a desire to give her best and I know she is excited to do that for our next child as well.
Our Family
Our son, Paxton, is our kindhearted, funny, and intelligent 5-year-old. He loves anything that has to do with construction vehicles or Hot Wheels, Legos, and Magna-Tiles. Like his daddy, he has started to have an interest in baseball.
Gianna is our independent, sweet and sassy 4-year-old. She loves playing dress up, wearing Mommy's jewelry, and having her hair done. She has recently developed an interest in dance, but also loves being on the soccer field.
Dahlia is our adventurous, smiley 1-year-old. She loves to knock over towers, snuggle with her blanket, and climb on everything.
The kids are so excited to have another brother or sister!
Our Home in Northern Illinois
We live in a spacious 4-bedroom house in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. We have a finished basement that has a toy room for the kids, as well as a nice backyard to run around in and a swing set to play on. We live about 10 minutes away from our church, library, restaurants and stores, as well as numerous parks, splash pads and walking paths. Because we experience all four seasons, we also have a lot of seasonal attractions we love to visit, such as apple orchards, sunflower fields, tree farms, and sledding hills.
Our Promise
We promise to provide a safe, stable and loving home for your child. We will not only tell your child about the love Jesus has for him or her, but also model that love. We will love your child unconditionally and be their biggest advocates. We will teach your child the importance of being kind to others and also how to celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. We will provide opportunities to learn more about other cultures, offer encouragement in trying new activities, and plan new adventures to explore the world. We promise to also be a family that values education, traditions, good health habits, and community. We will maintain a home that is full of laughter, encouragement and trust.
We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family
Family Traditions
We love old family traditions as well as creating new ones! Some of our favorite family traditions are:
- Spending the whole day together for the kids' birthdays and celebrating with donuts, balloons, and an outing of their choice
- Watching fireworks from our driveway on the 4th of July
- Riding in the combine on the family farm
- Annual Christmas cookie baking day with Bre's family
- Driving around to see Christmas lights while drinking chocolate milk
Extended Family
We have extended family all over the country. Most of Bre's family lives in the area and we visit with them often. We enjoy taking road trips to Texas to visit Anthony's family. Even though our family is spread out, we prioritize keeping close relationships with everyone. Both of our families are so excited for us to adopt and cannot wait to welcome another child into our family.
Why Adoption
Adoption has always been near and dear to our hearts. Anthony was adopted by his dad and also has family that was adopted as well. Adoption has been something we always talked about, even if we were to have biological children. After our most recent miscarriage, we took some time to heal and decided to pursue our desire to adopt.
Our Pet
We have one dog who is a lab/beagle mix that we rescued in 2016. He's in his golden years and is still the sweetest dog. He is patient and good with the kids. He will allow them to dress him up and is always on top of kitchen clean-up duty.
In Closing
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us! We are so excited to include your child in our outdoor adventures, family traditions, and living room dance parties. We will love your child unconditionally with our whole hearts. We would love to build a relationship with you on whatever level you are comfortable with, such as letters, pictures and yearly visits. Please know we are praying for you and your child daily and are so humbled for this opportunity.
