Hello! We’re so excited to have this opportunity to become parents through adoption. Our story started when we were set up by Da Shawn’s mother and we’ve now been married 7 years. We value hard work, education, loving God, and spending time together and with family. We’ve been through infertility and with God’s grace we have come to adoption. We’re excited about building our family this way.

We look forward to sharing our lives with a child. We will be kind, nurturing, supportive parents who will help him or her pursue their dreams and passion in the future. We hope to get to know you!

About Us

Friends say we are resilient, responsible, caring, loyal, and hardworking. We value our relationships with God and our loved ones. We love spending quality time together, whether we’re going to church, traveling, dining out, or simply watching TV or reading together.

Things we love to do:
• Beach vacations to Caribbean places (we love our toes in the sand!)
• Finding great restaurants (we’re foodies!)
• Family game nights playing Tabu, Family Feud, UNO, or Jenga
• Attending church each week
• Walks to the park with our dog, Roscoe

Meet Kimberly

I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner for an insurance company and have been a medical professional most of my life.

According to Da Shawn: Kimberly is amazing, kind, and supportive. Her heart for God leads the way she cares for her family and friends. She is always there for the people she loves. Kimberly is a great cook, keeps us organized, and is encouraging. When we used to care for foster children, I could see what a fantastic mother Kimberly would be for our child one day.

Kimberly enjoys:

Meet Da Shawn

I work for a major airline as a ramp agent. My coworkers are like family & I love the flexibility.

According to Kimberly: Da Shawn is God sent! He is kind, sweet, hard-working, thoughtful, and always puts us first. He is a great provider, patient, kind, and present. Children absolutely love Da Shawn! When we were foster parents I watched him give his full attention to the children and I know he will be an awesome father.

Da Shawn enjoys:

Our Home in Colorado

We have a warm, inviting, comfy home with 4 bedrooms and a finished basement. Our property has beautiful front and back yards that will make great play areas. There’s a room ready for us to decorate for our child after we adopt. We live in a suburb close to a large park, a recreation center, bike paths, schools, and fun activities for families. Our neighborhood is diverse in culture and race, which is one of the things we love about living here. Plus, we’re only an hour away from the mountains!

Our Family

We have a lot of family here in Colorado and we enjoy spending a lot of time together. We also have friends from out of state who come to visit often. Both of us come from large extended families and we love to visit our relatives in Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Georgia. Between us we have 17 nieces and nephews. Everyone is excited about our plans to adopt! We even have loved ones who have adopted children.
