Whether we are turning our kitchen into a flour-covered bakery, competing on the softball field, or getting our hands messy with a new craft project, we believe that the best parts of life are meant to be shared. Our home is a lively, happy place, anchored by our two biggest fans--our pets, GusGus and Romeo. While our days are full of creativity and adventure, we are excited about our future where we are sharing these moments with our child—teaching them crafts, cheering from the sidelines, and pointing them towards Jesus. We are so ready to grow our family and provide a world where our child feels safe, celebrated, and unconditionally loved. We would love to hear from you and get to know what you want for your child!
About Us
Our story began on a Christian dating app. Four years later, that spark has grown into a life filled with faith and shared dreams. While our path to parenthood has included unexplained infertility, our hearts have always been drawn to adoption. We believe adoption is a beautiful and intentional calling that we are honored to follow!

We are already dreaming of the day our little adventurer joins us for our annual trip to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. We cannot wait to see the world through a child’s eyes--from the quiet magic of a National Park to the bright lights of Disney. Most of all, we look forward to the simple, sacred moments: snuggling on the couch for a family movie night and surrounding our little one with the love of our nearby extended family.
About Alex
Dan says: Alex is a kind, loving, and energetic woman, who loves spending time with the people she cares for.
As a Pediatric Nurse with a big heart for children, she finds fulfillment in helping babies and kids get better, putting smiles on their faces and supporting their families during their hardest days. Her work schedule leaves plenty of time for exploring and living life!
Having learned to bake from her grandmother, Alex still finds joy in whipping up holiday meals and treats. She likes training for races like biathlons and “tough mudders” and listening to mystery and rom-com audiobooks.

Alex is excited to share these traditions with our child--from having fun in the kitchen and exploring art together to enjoying daily walks and shopping trips.
About Dan
Alex says: Dan is a fun-loving, kind, and passionate guy, who cares deeply for others.
As a Senior Claims Examiner, he truly enjoys helping people and appreciates the company he works for. His hybrid work schedule is a great fit, allowing him the flexibility to balance his career with family life.
When Dan was a child, his grandfather taught him the art of woodworking. Today, he still loves spending time in his backyard woodshop. He is also an avid reader of series like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

Dan is looking forward to sharing his passions with our child--teaching them woodworking, how to pray, and taking them on fun adventures to the Renaissance faire.

Our Home in Florida
We live in a cozy, three-bedroom, one-story home in a quiet neighborhood. It features a large living room, a front porch with rocking chairs, and a fenced-in backyard with room to play. We chose this house because it was once Dan's grandparents' home, and we love that we can continue to host our family gatherings here!

We have already started setting up the nursery and preparing for our baby. We found a beautiful green crib and are waiting until we find out if our baby will be a girl or a boy before we add the final touches to the space.

Our Pets
We share our home with 2 friendly, snuggly dogs.
-GusGus (doodle) enjoys pets, fetch, and trips to the dog park.
-Romeo (mini poodle) loves snuggling and sniffing every inch of the backyard.
They both enjoy hanging out with our toddler niece and are incredibly gentle with her. They truly love children, and we know they will make wonderful pets for our child.

Adoption In Our Family
Adoption has always been a beautiful part of Alex's family story. Her grandmother was adopted and her aunt grew their family by adoption. Growing up alongside 4 adopted cousins, Alex has seen that family is defined by love rather than just biology.
We are lucky to have both grown up with close-knit relationships and a huge support system that is already so excited to welcome a new member to the family through adoption.
