Hello! Our family makes time together a priority and relies on our values to guide our decisions. Becoming parents has been a dream come true. Coming from big families, we have always hoped to keep growing our own family. After we had our first two children, Jenny went through miscarriages and challenges trying to carry a pregnancy. We know in our hearts that God has other plans for our family to grow and has led us to adoption. We would be blessed and excited to share our lives with your child! We’d love to learn more about you and your little one.

Our Story

We met through Jared’s sister and have been married for 8 beautiful years. Our story has had happy and challenging times, all of it making us stronger as a couple. As parents, we work to build solid bonds within our family, and also model how to give back to those around us. We also love to find ways to make things fun and engaging, no matter what we’re doing together. Staying healthy and keeping life simple and slow are important to us. We enjoy being home with each other or spending time with our large extended family.

As a couple, we like:
• Bike rides on local trails
• Day trips to see farmlands and forests around Pennsylvania
• Cooking healthy meals together
• Walks in our neighborhood
• Skipping rocks in the creek or feeding fish in the pond
• Attending church and going to church events throughout the year
• Dinner with our small group
• Investing in ways to keep our marriage grounded

About Jenny

Jared says: Jenny is thoughtful, kind, and lives with integrity and a strong moral compass. She looks for ways to try to be there for a person or animal in need. My wife has a way of bringing love into any situation. It’s no surprise she chooses to work in an ER, with her nurturing heart and calm, hopeful spirit. More than anything, Jenny loves being a mom who enjoys putting our family’s needs first. She inspires me to match the effort she puts into all she does for us, and others. Jenny is also fun to be around and lights up any room with a smile or a subtle joke. Any child who joins our family will instantly receive the same love from Jenny that we all receive daily. She is a blessing to our whole family.

Jenny’s interests:

• Preparing meals for families going through a child’s medical need

About Jared

Jenny says: Jared is kind, loving, strong, capable, and has a huge caring heart for others. He’s a good friend and the best dad and husband we could ask for. Jared’s solid values are seen in every aspect of his life. He inspires our children to achieve all that they are capable of, while meeting their needs with love and support. I know he wants to see them become all they can be and grow into thoughtful, successful adults. My husband is hard-working and provides so much for our family. Jared makes time for us, helping the kids with chores or homework, taking them on hikes or bike rides, and coaching or cheering at their sports. I’m thankful to raise children with Jared and know he will do anything for any child who joins our family.

Jared’s interests:

Family Life

We have two young children who are both excited about adding a little sibling to our family. Our daughter, Hayden, is 6 years old. She is sweet, loving, a determined leader, and has a big, caring heart. Our son, Brooks, is 4 years old. He is active, strong, sweet, and kind. Both of our kids play soccer, and Hayen also does dance and gymnastics. Our kids love playing together and will be wonderful with the little sister or brother who comes into their lives.

Life can get busy, but we make sure to relax and have quality time together. When we’re not at school or work, we love spending time outdoors near our home or in the backyard with neighbors.

Some of our favorite things to do with our kids are:
• Flying kites
• Going to the playground
• Hiking
• Go to local festivals and picnics in the community

Our Home in Pennsylvania

We live near the city in a rural area, which is a perfect balance of having a lot of space and a big home, while still being close to everything the city can offer. Our neighborhood is newer and there are many young families with children who live here. We enjoy living close to our church, shopping, and restaurants. Less than an hour away in the city, we like to visit the zoo, museums, amusement parks, theaters, and other fun things. In our small town we enjoy the local events, like holiday parades, festivals, and local farm events.

Our home has 4 bedrooms and a loft in the upstairs. The kitchen is a big hub where we spend a lot of time reconnecting as we cook meals throughout the week. There are multiple play areas throughout our home for toys and activities. There’s plenty of space to play and run, including a swing set and playhouse in the backyard. We have a room ready to become our next child’s nursery, along with some of the big things our future baby will need when they come home.

From Our Hearts
