Growing our family has been a dream of ours for many years, and we are so excited to become first time parents through the gift of adoption! We love our family, our dogs, our little house and farm, and where we live. Life is a beautiful journey that has many valleys and hills, but we learn and love through them all and we can't wait to be able to share all that we are and have with a child.
Our Story
We've been happily married for 9 years, having started as high school sweethearts. Our life together is filled with love, laughter, and adventure. We share our home with two dogs—a 15-year-old golden retriever and a 3-year-old goldendoodle—and have built a life full of memories, from running our aerospace machine shop to traveling the world.
Family is at the heart of everything we do. Despite facing challenges with infertility, our faith and love have guided us to adoption as a way to grow our family. We’re excited to share our lives and love with a child and would be honored to learn about your hopes for them.

About Johnny (by Wynn)
Johnny is my rock. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I know he will make an amazing father; he is already an amazing husband. Johnny brings joy and energy to those around him, making people feel seen and loved. He is the most fun person and is the instigator of all shenanigans! He loves to be outside whether that be boating on the lake during the summer, hiking out to the mountains, snowboarding during the winter, or just quiet evening walks with our dogs. He is adventurous in all areas of life, including starting his own business. Johnny has always had a father's heart and looks forward to sharing his love for life with our future child.

About Wynn (By Johnny)
Wynn is the heart and soul of our family and finds joy in the simple things in life. Her heart is for the home, where she loves to garden, bake, read, quilt, and take daily walks with me and the dogs. Wynn’s ideal day would be a day with no plans, where she can drink coffee and get lost in a good book. Over the years, she has taught me the value of rest and is gifted with the ability to care for others, no matter the circumstance. Wynn is currently a barista and looks forward to becoming a stay-at-home mom when we bring our baby home. Her superpower is turning a house into a home, and I know she will be a world-class mom.

Our Family
Both of us come from large families that love to spend as much time together as possible. Johnny is the middle of 7 siblings and Wynn is the oldest of 6 siblings. Johnny's parents are our next-door neighbors, and they cannot wait to have a little one living a few short minutes away. We have 8 nieces and nephews on Johnny's side of the family, and every year we do a big family campout on our family property with lots of food, volleyball, playing in the pool, and ping pong tournaments.
Wynn's family all live about 15 minutes from our house, and she grew up as next-door neighbors to her grandparents and all her cousins and aunts and uncles. We all get together often and enjoy cornhole tournaments and big family dinners. Wynn's parents are so excited to have another little grandbaby, and her grandparents are over the moon to have another great grandbaby!
Our Home in Idaho
We live in beautiful north Idaho and are surrounded by mountains and big lakes. 7 years ago, we bought 5 acres and built our house right down the road from Johnny’s parents. Our house has a big yard and is right next to a 110-year-old dairy barn. We want to continue expanding our farm. Wynn currently has 25 chickens, and she continues to dream of ducks and cows in the future. Our favorite feature of our house is our back patio where we spend many summer evenings! We live on a quiet dirt road which is perfect for walking and biking.
We live between two well rounded cities and have ample opportunities for school and sport activities.
One of the great things about where we live is the outdoors. Whether it is boating on the lake or hiking in the mountains, we love taking advantage of the country we live in. We look forward to raising a child with an appreciation for the outdoors and the ability to grow up in the country.

More About Our Family
Our Love for Travel
Since we have been married, we have enjoyed being able to take several big trips around the world. We have been able to go to Ireland and Scotland, and then spent a month in Thailand a few years later. We also love smaller trips and like to take road trips to different places in the US. Our favorite is the Oregon Coast, where we have gone almost every year since our honeymoon. Whenever we travel, we talk about how we can't wait to show our children all the places that we love so much, but we also can't wait to see so many new places and make even more memories together.
Our Business
We own an aerospace machine shop, which we started 6 years ago in a garage with just one machine. Johnny worked two jobs at the time to make his dream of owning a business a reality. Today, our shop has grown to 4 machines, 10 employees, and a commercial space just 5 minutes from our home.
Our Thoughts on Education
Both of us were very blessed to be able to be homeschooled by our mothers growing up. It was a wonderful experience for us both, and Wynn has even continued to explore homeschooling by helping with her younger brother’s education. She has been teaching 7th-9th grade math, history and science for the last two years. We are open to many different options for our child’s education and feel we live in a good area that provides the ability to have that.
Having a good education for our child is very important to us, and with that comes having a good exposure to a wide variety of extracurricular activities such as sports, music, and art. Both of us played sports in school, and we still enjoy these sports today. Johnny played basketball in high school and has gone on to coach high school basketball now for the last two years. We look forward to being able to foster a love for learning in our child, and want to be able to provide the best possible education that will ensure that he or she will only have limitless opportunities presented to them in the future.
More About Our Life
We have a full life that we can't wait to share with our baby. Between both of our families and our church family, we have a wonderful community surrounding us. We also love spending time together and finding new and fun ways we can be with each other. Recently Johnny has been training for several sporting events and while he is running or swimming, Wynn has been riding her bike or paddling a kayak to keep him company. We enjoy taking evening walks all year around and sharing home cooked meals together most evenings. During the winter when Johnny coaches basketball, Wynn goes to every game to cheer the team and coach (Johnny) on. And when Wynn is quilting, Johnny will often join her to watch a show while she sews. Our favorite place to be is with each other, and we hope to build a family that loves spending time together.
