Hi there, from the beautiful mountains of Virginia! We are a faith-centered, nurturing family of 5 that loves all things nature and outdoors. As a family we enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, growing our own food, and exploring our local National and State parks. On simpler days, we can be found hanging out as a family playing boards games, cooking, baking together, and having Friday night movie nights.

We are so excited and honored to be on this adoption journey. Adoption has always been on our hearts, but more recently so due to secondary infertility. Our 3 kiddos are beyond excited to have another little sibling and pray nightly for you and your baby. Being together as a family is our favorite place to be and we look forward to sharing this beautiful and abundant life with our future baby. We look forward to getting to know you better. We are open to whatever contact and connection you feel comfortable with.

About Us

We have been married for 18 years , together for 22 years, and have 3 awesome kiddos. We have spent most of our marriage in Southwest Florida before moving to the beautiful Virginia countryside. The mountains, scenery, and homesteading life were calling our names.

We enjoy spending our time in the great outdoors. That can look like anything from camping and hiking to taking care of our ducks and chickens and growing our own vegetable garden. We also enjoy being involved with our community and church. Jonathan is involved with our boys in their Trail Life Troop and Jenn volunteers with our daughter's American Heritage Girls Troop.

As a couple we enjoy visiting our town and trying new cuisines. We also enjoy exploring the local area and seeing all the hands-on history it has to offer. On quieter days, we like to grab a good cup of coffee and take a long drive through the mountains.

All about Jenn

I am a pediatric nurse, who now stays home and homeschools our 3 kids. I have a great passion for education and learning and feel honored to be able to share it with our children daily. I enjoy fostering their creativity and supporting their passions, all while watching them learn and grow.

I am an old soul who loves cozy vibes, country life, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy curling up with a good book and a good cup of coffee. I love all things homesteading and can often be found in the kitchen creating a new dish or making bread. Cooking for my family is my love language.

According to Jonathan: Jenn is a nurturing and loving mother who always puts her family first. Her compassion and empathy towards others are truly heartwarming. Not only is she an amazing mother, but she is also the primary teacher in our homeschooling family. Many days, Jenn can be found teaching school, playing games, taking the kids on field trips, stewarding our children's faith, teaching them to cook and be self-sufficient, and helping them navigate all of life’s challenges with patience and kindness. Jenn LOVES being a mom!

All About Jonathan

I work in the public school system as an Instructional Technology Coach and have been in this field for the past 5 years. Prior to this I taught music at the high school level and was a Band Director for 19 years. I enjoy working with children and fostering a love for education. I am so grateful for my job as it provides well for our family and allows Jenn to stay home and homeschool our children. My family is the most important thing in my life and all that I do and work towards is to ensure that they are well taken care of financially, emotionally, and physically.

According to Jenn: Jonathan is a true partner in life! I love his loyalty and dedication to our marriage and family. He is a wonderful provider and works so hard every day to make sure we are well taken care of. His love for the Lord is a beautiful testimony to watch, and I love the example he sets for our children. Jonathan is always ready to be hands on in every aspect of parenting and really shows up for all the things in life. Jonathan is such a blessing to our family.

Our Family

We have been blessed with 3 incredible kiddos that make every day an adventure! We have 2 boys and a girl.

"E" is our oldest and he is 15. He has a passion for technology and plans to go into cyber security as a career. He loves all things model trains and is involved in our local Model Train Club. He is such a great big brother.

"L" is our middle child and is 12 years old. He is the biggest adventurer in our family. He has a love for history and archeology and hopes to be an archeologist when he grows up. "L" also has a huge passion for conservation and is always finding ways to save the planet. He is so excited to go on adventures with his new sibling.

"O" is our youngest at 9 years old. She is a lover of all animals, especially horses and hopes to have a horse of her own someday. She is super creative and loves art. "O" is beyond excited to be a big sister and can't wait to share all her favorite things with her new little sibling.

Our Home in Virginia

We live in a 4-bedroom, 3-story home in the countryside of Virginia. Our home sits on a little over 3 acres of rolling hills and forests. The mountains can be seen clearly from our property, and we are within walking distance of ponds and rivers--perfect for hot summer days. Our home could be described as a modern farmhouse with cozy vibes. There is ample room for children to run free and explore on our property. One part of the property is dedicated to our vegetable garden, as well as our chickens and ducks. The rest is often frequented by deer and other local wildlife. We love watching our herd of 13 deer walk the back property from our dining room table. Even though we are in the country, our neighbors are only 3 acres apart from us. The community has several families that our children frequently play with. It's a very safe and private area, free of traffic and strangers. Our location is very convenient, being only 20 minutes from local stores, libraries, hospitals, and activities. We are about an hour from 2 major cities that have popular museums, theaters, colleges and other opportunities to explore.
