Hi! We’re honored you’re considering us for the privilege of parenting your child. We have a committed, life-long marriage, and we are ready to provide your child love, stability, and a secure environment to flourish for a lifetime. We enjoy celebrating holidays, spending time with family, and just being ourselves. We have flexible work schedules which include in-office and work-from-home routines, so we will have time to be there for our child through every milestone, and everything in between. If you're comfortable, we would be excited to talk with you and learn more about you or your hopes for your baby.
We've been married for 10 wonderful years! We both have artistic backgrounds, a passion for sports and movies, and enjoy getting creative with food. We are Catholic and like attending retreats to keep our faith strong. We are both successful professionals as managers and enjoy the ability to share ideas as we develop our talents as dedicated leaders. As first-time parents, we look forward to all the love, fun, and memories to be had with our future child. We are beyond excited for this next chapter, as we hope to grow our family through adoption.
Juan has the most fun, care-free personality and always makes people laugh! He is a loyal, supportive husband, especially in life’s toughest moments. Juan’s youthful spirit spreads joy to everyone he meets. He loves to try new recipes in the kitchen, caring for our home, and collecting memorabilia from his favorite comics, movies, books and music. Juan is a fun-loving uncle and faithful godfather. He looks forward to playing catch and sharing his love for art with our future child. I know he will be an excellent father one day!
Jessica is a loving wife and my best friend. She is always putting others first; Jessica is the biggest cheerleader to her 3 brothers, and loves being an aunt to her nieces and nephew who enjoy her playful spirit. She's a great friend, and has even maintained friendships she's had since childhood! Jessica loves to capture life through photography and has a passion for her faith. Her patient nature makes her a perfect Religious Ed teacher to the seventh graders in our parish community. Watching her nurture the children in her class has given me a glimpse of what kind of mom she'll be. I know she will be a wonderful mother someday.
Our Home in Illinois
Our 2-bedroom, split-level home is in a beautiful suburban neighborhood in Illinois. It has a cozy home interior, a scenic garden outside, and we're working on the nursery! We live within a couple of miles from everything a community can offer including schools, parishes, parks, paths, hospitals, and shops. Our neighborhood and parish community have many families with children, and everyone is excited to meet the child we adopt.
Our Family & Traditions
We love every opportunity we get to spend time with our families. It's always a good time together, whether we're watching Chicago sports with Juan’s dad while getting our favorite take-out, or board games and movies at Jess’ parents for a fun night. Our nieces and nephew can’t wait to have a first cousin! We always look forward to family reunions on the beach in Michigan, having a BBQ with Juan’s family in Indiana, and joking around with grandma in Iowa. We both come from large extended families, all of whom would be overjoyed to welcome your child with open and loving arms. We know your child will be greatly loved by many.
We promise to provide your child with unconditional and understanding love. We promise to maintain a healthy marriage and be positive role models for your child, providing a stable home environment. We will nurture your child’s talents, passions, and gifts to help them grow into the unique person God intends them to be. We promise to provide for their educational, mental, and spiritual development, allowing them to pursue their dreams and goals in life.
We truly appreciate your time to consider adoption, and our family. If chosen, you would always remain a special part of our family. We will always speak of you with love, and will help your child embrace our family's adoption story. We are open to whatever level of contact you are most comfortable with, including letters, photos, and visits.

More About Our Family
Our Typical Week
Every morning we get ready together, trying to make each other laugh as we prepare for the day. After work, we have dinner, talk, and then we'll relax with a movie or TV, reading, or art projects. On weekends, we even enjoy running errands or doing chores together; we love to get outside for bike rides, yard work, or walks, and take every chance to see our family (especially if the Bears are playing!).
We are faithful, practicing Catholics who attend mass every week and believe God made each one of us unique with talents and gifts. We believe that trusting God with our heart's desires helps us grow into our full potential. We lean on our faith often to help us through both challenging and rewarding times in life!
Our Movie/TV Show Interest
Jessica is a big FRIENDS fanatic and jumped on every opportunity to visit the traveling FRIENDS Experience when it came to our city. She also loves love story movies. Juan enjoys everything Marvel, Beatles, Star Wars, and the TV show The Office. When theaters are open, we like to go to the first showing of new releases and enjoy our theater popcorn!
About Our Home
We live a red brick, 2-bedroom, split-level home that has a lot of character. It's a cozy house, with a room we'll turn into the nursery, and a finished basement ready for family playtime!
Becoming parents and providing a child a stable and loving home has been a dream of ours for years. We're so grateful that you're considering us for the privilege and responsibility of parenting your child. We have so much love to give a child, and to you! Our hearts and home are completely open to this journey of adoption, and we can't wait to get to know you. We promise to love, nurture and encourage your child for years to come, and always speak of you with love. We are open to visit, letters, photos, or whatever contact is most comfortable for you.
