Hello, we are Michael and Taylor. We are high school sweethearts from southern West Virginia who are hoping to adopt our first child! We have 4 dogs whom we love and adore. Together we enjoy cooking, DIY projects around the house, camping, riding our side-by-side in the mountains, and we really love being home watching movies and eating popcorn by our fireplace.

About Us

We have been married for 9 years, but together for 13 years since high school. Michael is a heavy equipment diesel mechanic and Taylor is a homemaker. We are very outgoing people who love and live life to the fullest potential. We enjoy going camping in the mountains, taking a weekend and going fishing, and we truly enjoy just being home and having cookouts and get-togethers with friends and family. We love going on vacation with our closest friends and their children. We love sports, especially football season; that is our favorite time of the year. We love enjoying the holidays and look forward to carrying on family traditions such as carving pumpkins, making homemade hot chocolate and sitting by a fire handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, playing in the snow and building a snowman, stuffing and hanging stockings, decorating the Christmas tree, and coloring eggs at Easter. We are so very excited to add a child(ren) to our lives and watch them grow and become involved in their own activities and hobbies that they will love to do.

About Taylor

Hello, my name is Taylor. I worked for the railroad as a Train Dispatcher for 8 years until we decided to move back home to West Virginia to pursue our dreams of becoming parents. I am currently a stay-at-home wife, and plan to be a stay-at-home-mom while raising a child(ren). I love gardening and raising some of our own food, being active walking and going to the gym, and I also love cooking meals whether it be from scratch or something quick and easy. I enjoy reading my Bible and a good book, cleaning and organizing our home, and I enjoy being with my husband, family, and friends. I really love sports; in high school I played softball, volleyball, and I also was the high school mascot. I've always enjoyed being around children and have always envisioned being a mother one day. I love learning new things and skillsets and keeping my mind sharp. I am so excited to become a mother; it will be a dream come true for me. I want to give our child(ren) the best life possible and support them in all of their dreams and desires in life.

About Michael

Hello, my name is Michael. I work full-time as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic. I love working on and fixing things whether it be small engines such as lawn mowers or big engines such as the equipment I work on at work. I am hardworking and enjoy being able to provide for my family. I love riding our side-by-side and dirt bikes. I also love spending time with my wife, family, and friends. I enjoy going fishing on the weekends and spending time on the lake, and decorating the outside of our home and yard for all of the different holidays. I also enjoy doing DIY projects around the house and building things from scratch. I am a very outgoing person and never meet a stranger. I am very excited to become a father; this has been a dream of mine for many years now. I plan to be very active in my child(ren)'s life. I want to show them the love that I grew up with, and more. I cannot wait to get to experience fatherhood and give our child(ren) so much love, support, and help them have the best life possible.

Our Family and Friends

We both come from big loving families and a large group of very close friends. We live just a few minutes away from both of our families. The word “family” means so much to us! We were both raised with great values, respect for others, and most importantly to love one another. Family means the most to us, and having a family of our very own has been something we have been praying for years now. We spend a lot of time with our family and friends, especially on the weekends and holidays. Christmas is our favorite to celebrate with everyone under one roof at our home, hosting Christmas dinner. While holidays are usually spent with family, our vacations are spent with some of our closest friends and their children. Our families always gather together on birthdays and any important events that happen in our lives. We love spending time and making memories with everyone.

Our Home in West Virginia

We live in a single-family brick home. It has 3 bedrooms and a fenced in back yard. We have a large living room, kitchen and dining room area, and a bedroom already turned into a fully furnished nursery for our baby/babies. Our home has a screened-in porch area that we love to sit in and enjoy the mornings and afternoons. We live in a very loving community that is very supportive, including our plans to adopt. We have some of the best school systems in the area, with many different activities to choose from such as little league baseball, local churches offering basketball camps, and local schools offering football and baseball camps for little ones. We are proud to be from this area; it is being built up more and more every year. Our town is known for trail riders, where people come from all over to ride the trail systems here on dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and side-by-sides in the mountains. We also have amazing doctors and staff in our area for childcare. We love where we live a there is no place like home to us, which is why we moved back home to West Virginia.

Our Promise to You

We wholeheartedly thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. Becoming parents will be a huge blessing to us! We want you to know that your child(ren) will be so loved unconditionally, and supported in all aspects as they grow up. We hope to give our child(ren) the best that life has to offer. Our child(ren)'s life will be filled with much love, lots of family, and the most wonderful memories that we will make together. We promise to give your child(ren) every advantage possible, and that we will be nurturing parents who will help them fulfill whatever dreams they desire in life. We are open to future contact with you through photos, texts/emails, and occasional visits, if you desire. We want to thank you, more than words could ever express, for taking the time to learn about us. You will always be in our prayers! We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. To learn more about us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family

Why we are adopting

We are choosing adoption because we cannot have children of our own, but greatly desire to be parents. We believe that every child deserves to be loved and nurtured, and we would love to have the opportunity to pour our love into a child(ren).

Our thoughts on open adoption

We would love nothing more than an open adoption, if you choose. We would love to be able to send pictures, do FaceTime calls, and to be able to have a relationship with you and the child(ren). We ultimately want what is best for the child(ren) and we believe that is having you as part of their life, if you desire.
