Hello from small town, Texas! We live on 11 acres in the hill country. We love spending time outside driving our dogs around our property, playing basketball or catch, and saying hi to our neighbors George & Coco (they're llamas). Cooking meals together as a family is something we enjoy and when at home, we make it a point to eat together at the dinner table and pray before our meals. This is our time to talk about our day and stay connected without any distractions.

As we go through this journey, we hope to meet you and would love getting to know you more. We pray every day for you as you go through these steps, and we feel so honored to even be considered as adoptive parents for your child.

About Us

We have been together for 8 years and met online. We both love the holidays, especially Christmas! We got married 1 week before Christmas and love creating new traditions together every year. We both love football and even though we have rival teams, we still have a lot of fun together cooking for game days and watching our teams play.

We decided to start our adoption journey after 6 years of infertility and wanting to give our son a sibling. We (all 3 of us) have always wanted a big family, and we are so excited to be adopting! We can’t wait to spend holidays together as a family, making core memories around the fireplace and creating new traditions.

About Kaitlin

Kaitlin enjoys: photography, dogs, going to church, football, and spending time with family

Stephen says: Kaitlin works for her dad doing marketing for his company, while also doing photography as a secondary job. She spends a lot of time making sure our family dinners and meals are planned out for the week, and making sure the family has memorable events planned for spending quality family time together regularly. She loves walking around our property and finding new things to photograph, including us and our dogs. She can’t wait to shower our future child with love and snuggles and capturing every little moment through her camera. She has dreamed of becoming a mother her entire life and she’s never wanted anything more than that.

About Stephen

Stephen enjoys: Texas A&M, sports, playing music, coaching, church, and time with family

Kaitlin says: Stephen keeps our family having fun and making sure every day is “the best day ever”. He is full of positivity and energy. Stephen loves kids and coaches 2 flag football teams from 3rd - 6th grade and can’t wait to coach our child in whatever sports they choose! Stephen is President of Sales/Business Development for an Oil & Gas service company and loves what he does. He has a degree in mechanical engineering technology and always loves a great challenge, and is an active Christian in the community.

Our Family

We have a 13-year-old son named Hendrix (aka Henry) who is technically Kaitlin’s stepson, but she likes to call him her bonus son. During the warmer months you can catch us outside playing sports, chasing the dogs, swimming at our families’ homes, enjoying the lake, and cooking out. During the cooler months we love to build fires in our fireplace, snuggle up to watch football or movies, and play video games or board games together.

We are both very close with our extended families and try to have dinner with both sides at least once a month. We spend all major holidays together and try our best to be there for all the important moments. They are so excited for us to be adopting, and they can’t wait for our family to grow.

Our Home in Texas

We designed and built our home ourselves a few years ago, with the intention to grow our family. We have 4 bedrooms and one of the bedrooms is a game room above our garage. We live on 11 acres, but we fenced off an acre around the house so that we have a safe space for the dogs and our children to play freely. There are cows that roam our property and we see all kinds of wildlife including deer, jack rabbits, and more. We also have a ½ acre pond that is currently stocked with fish.

Although we live in the country, we are still very close to town and live within 10 minutes of schools, shopping, and dining – so we get the best of both worlds! Our community is very close, and we love hosting team builder events for the football players at our home.

Our Promise

As you walk through this journey, we want you to feel valued and understood. We promise to give your child a loving and safe home, where they can feel free to ask any questions they want about their life and where they came from. We will instill good Christian values and make sure they know how loved they are, not only by us, but by Jesus.

Education is very important and will always come first before sports or any other hobbies. We want to always give our child an opportunity to explore their desires and talents and will keep them involved in many things such as sports, music, cooking, art, and more.

If you are open to it, we would love to meet you and get to know you more. We are open to discussing more options for an open adoption, whatever is comfortable for you.

We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

We have 2 dogs named Rizzo & Oreo and they're big snugglers! Rizzo is a gentle giant, and Oreo is a very happy puppy. Both are crate trained and mind basic commands very well.

Our Faith

Kaitlin was raised Catholic and Stephen was raised Christian. Together we attend Mass and plan to raise our children in the Catholic church.

Our Musical Interests

We genuinely love all music, but we connected through our shared love of 2000's emo & punk rock. Although we do love country & classic rock as well!

Extended Family

Stephen's parents live 5 minutes from us and love babysitting all of their grandchildren! He has an older sister that's married with 3 boys. He also has a younger brother that's married with twin girls.

Kaitlin's parents live 15 minutes from us and Kaitlin's mom recently retired and can't wait to help with babysitting! She has an older brother that's married with 2 girls and a boy and another older brother that's married with 2 girls.

In Closing

When we built our home in the Hill Country, we built it with the intention of growing our family and building core memories for years to come. Our hope has always been to share this home with our kids, grandkids, and hopefully future generations. Adoption is such a wonderful blessing, and we think you are so special for being here and considering adoption. We promise to give your child a home where they feel loved and safe, a lifestyle centered around Jesus, the goodness of His heart, and an openness about their adoption story. We hope to continue an open relationship with you throughout the years, and we will continue to pray not only for your child, but for you as well.
